James Courtright McKinley, Jr. is an American journalist for ''The New York Times,'' a position he has held since 1989. ==Personal Life== McKinley (born May 8, 1962) is a son of James C. McKinley, a retired professor and former editor of ''New Letters'' magazine, and Mary Ann McKinley.
